Artec expands its in-house aftermarket support capabilities with the installation of a new no-load variable speed test cell. All gearboxes which are overhauled and rebuilt by Artec shall undergo a 2 hour (or 4 hour) no-load diagnostic test.  This shall include a full spectrum vibration analysis, noise measurements, temperature monitoring and well has no-load gearbox efficiency measurements.       

Future expansion plans include high speed testing according to API-613/5 requirements.

Current system capabilities include:
125 Hp variable frequency motor drive (expandable to 350 HP)
120 GPM self contained lube oil system (expandable to 300 GPM)
16'x8' slotted bed plate
Real time full frequency spectrum vibration diagnostic analyzer
Real time temperature and noise monitoring equipment.
